Introduction
It is very clear from the teachings of the scriptures that God expects His saints to be about the Father's business, occupying until He comes in the occupation that He called all saints to - to be fishers of men - soulwinners. Once you begin to Search the Scriptures about this subject, you will find it's God's heartbeat. It speaks of the church bearing fruit, investing talents, being a light, being the salt of the earth, being doers of good works, manifesting God's character to this world and doing His Will.
James 5:7 declares to us the God is patiently waiting for the return on His investment in us and many scriptures warn us to not to hide our talent but to bring forth fruit or be cut down and cast into the fire. And also tells us of the rewards in Scriptures like Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
So we need to replicate ourselves, reproduce and invest in faithful saints that will do the same as the Apostle Paul exhorts Timothy - (2 Tim 2:2) And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
It's literally impossible for every bible student to have his or her very own teacher of the Scriptures teaching them our precious truths of the Oneness of God, Baptism in Jesus Name, Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, Holiness or just answering their many questions.
That is why Apostolic Teacher Series was produced and what it does. It literally walks the student on an individual basis through all the Apostolic teachings from Genesis to Revelation using the format of Search for Truth home bible study on a teachers level.
It was prayerfully written and produced, before the age of computers, over a 4 year period by several lay members of the First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, LA with Rev. Ray Johnson as their pastor. They were and still are conservative and tactful soulwinners with a great burden for the lost.
